What's it like working for Aldi? That's what we asked a few employees...

Loic has a degree in Business and Technology, but decided he wanted a real challenge. A job that would use all his energy and skills - and bring the rewards he'd expect for such dedication.

That's why he now manages his own store. It never gets easier - Loic would be the first to admit that he can never predict what the next day will bring, but that's part of the buzz.

"I wanted a challenge - and I got one! The biggest of which is probably leadership. Every member of staff is different and I treat each of them as individuals. I respect them, they respect me."

After 3½ years, Loic continues to recommend Aldi to people on a regular basis.

"Aldi has a good work ethic and backs this up with good salaries and good promotion prospects. I'll never forget the day I opened my own store for the first time. My own store... It helped that everything went right that day, of course, but that's part of the fun!"
